Review :
It is one of only 19 rap albums to receive a perfect rating from XXL magazine. Get Rich or Die Tryin' has been called the most hyped rap debut in over a decade. Allmusic writer Jason Birchmeier called the album impressive and incredibly calculated in their positive four star review.

Controversy :

50 Cent caused much controversy and began his career as a one of the most successful rappers ever, by "sending" for various artists who were and are certified in the Rap Industry.

Jay-Z also reacted to the comments in the track called "It's Hot (Some Like It Hot)" made by 50 Cent.

"Go against Jigga yo' ass is dense
I'm about a dollars, what the fuck is 50 Cents?"

50 Cent then went to go on and manipulate other rappers careers such as Ja Rule, Fat Joe and Jadakiss. Due to the song "Piggy Bank" Ja Rule, Fat Joe and Jadakiss are more or less non existent. This recieved so much Media coverage and 50 Cent was then labeled "A REAL gangster rapper".

1st Preliminary Task

This is my first completed prelim task for A2 Media in which i had edited, cropped and cut all the footage shown.

This was an easier task but still showing my ability to get my timing right. I successfully adjusted some clips in order to make the lip syncs of these girls fit in with timing of the song.

Today i shall be working with markers to help manipulate the beat, produce fast edits and cuts and help create impressive effects. :)
