This music video from a past student at Park High showed a lot of good work and ideas with creative effects and tricks. These are some of the things I found really good.
The two shots are really well blended together with a mirror effect added to add creativity.
The black and white reflects the narrative and its sad tone and the high angled shot makes the man look powerless and smaller while he is on the floor.
the shot of the two main people as they are separated and you can clearly see distance between them.

Again a great medium shot of the torso upwards of each main person in the music video. this shot shows the distance and the attitudes expressed on each persons face showing sadness.
